coin of the week.

ok well it's more like the latest auction win.

and it's for my liberty seated half registry set.

DANG! thats right they don't halve one of those yet do they .

this one will be on the way to ngc next week .and it's a really nice example of this year.

it's also an unlisted variety, the far right 1 is doubled and the denticles are also clearly doubled below the far right 1.

Excellent date! I know that some folks (like RR) are less big on this date than I am, but I love this date. (This isn't the O mint specimen, right?)

What do you think this will grade out? 63?

well the bid was 62 money.

but it will go 63 and yes it's the big one. 51 -p .

it was wierd buying a coin in a major auction ungraded.

but hey I figure if b&m can't get the grade right who can ?

I have several in au55 but this coin just made me have to have it .

oh yea, you know what I mean .hehe. smile.gif

it would be like the 15th best known ? sound about right ?

either way it's very cool for my collection.

and i'm still hoping to get NGC to put up an liberty seated half set.

Nice coin, congrats!!

I was also wondering why NGC/PCGS have registry for other seated denom and no half/quarter doller set yet.

I hope you complete your seated half set soon and start a set of smaller denom.....I'm waiting for you laugh.gif

Yes, yes. I knew you also collect them, but I thought you are mostly into halves and don't collect half dimes seriously.

They are sooo small, you know. So hurry up before your eyes get too old to tell them from buttons on your clothes wink.gifsmile.gif
