coin show finds

14 posts in this topic

It was a good show for me. I even picked up a 1950 proof Franklin to finish off that set. I got the wife a 1921 and a 1921D Merc dime, and a few PL Morgans which i cannot get a good pic of to save my life.

Please be as honest as possible with opinions as i need to learn and i know there is a lot of experience and knowledge on this forum and i want to learn what is good, bad or just indifferent.

Thanks, Matt

Take care, Matt

Thanks for the opinions guys. I do plan to send these in to NGC in a few weeks and i will let you know how they come back.

The coin pictured last is a very nice looking coin in hand in my opinion. The pictures make it look thick and blotchy, but it does not look that way. Ill try a few batter pics tonight if time allows.

Schatzy, I thought the 1878 looked AT toned too. That one came off eBay. I still have a lot to learn about Morgans so right now, for me, eBay is a gamble. Some times I win but more often, like a Casino, the house is the only winner.

Thanks again for the opinions, Matt
