lacquered IHC

I have an 1869 Indian head cent that I've had for some time and I would like to have it graded, but I think it has been lacquered. If I submit the coin to NCS do I have to make any special notes, or request Please Reply Thank You

It is always a good idea to add any concerns with the conservation of your coin in the "NOTES" section of the NCS submission form.
