1800's Platinum 3 Rouble - Submittable under World Gold tier?

2 posts in this topic

Hi,

Two questions.

1. Are 1800's dated platinum 3 roubles eligible to be submitted under the World Gold Tier? - for example, along with 4 gold coins.

2. If the authenticity of an 1800's platinum 3 rouble is questionable, - but it can not be ruled out as genuine - will it be Details Graded as such?

Thanks

John,

Your platinum 3 Rouble would be submitted under the service line in accordance with its value. If it is valued less than $3,000, you can use the World Standard service which is $32/coin. If the item is valued above $3,000 but less than $10,000, you would need to use the World Express service which is $50/coin. The World gold service is for those gold pieces valued less than $1,000 each.

If the 3 Rouble is of questionable authenticity, it will not be holdered but returned in a standard NGC flip. Details grades are only given to coins that have been determined authentic but have some other detriment that prevents them from garnering a numeric grade.
