Need so pre-evaluation advise - Fingerprints and Dark Toning

1 post in this topic

Most collectors tell me do not send it or you will be sorry. They say you at least know what you got here, warts ( fingerprints) and all

I understand from another post that after an evaluation, there will be a guarantee that the grade will hold or the coin will not be conserved, right?

This coin is currently graded as one of the top two graded 52 FBL's at NGC! Hard to believe that

the grading was an error, yet as many as 40 other collectors all say this is an ugly toned obverse with fingerprints. The reverse looks pretty good. Wouldn't the coin look unnatural only to conserve the obverse?

If this were your personal coin, would you risk conservation? I included some good close ups.

Your comments are much appreciated as I am a heavy NGC supporter.
