1939 jefferson ddr

any opinions on the 1939 double die reverse jefferson nickel? are they worth the $$. this one i saw was graded out at a xf45. any prices out there many thanks

For what it's worth, the CPG lists the DDR in XF40 @ $50, but I can't say how accurate that would be.

I think they are awesome, what is not to love.

 

 

One of the few Jefferson Nickels worth some money in the circulated grades. Any doubled die that can be easily seen with the naked eye is a treasure in my book. The 1939 DDR Jefferson certainly fits into that category.
