Can anyone tell me about this Double eagle copy?

It's a spielmark (spielmarke) token used in games. Some of these are quite common, though I do not have a website address where you can get a more detailed breakdown of the pieces.

These game counters were made and used during the 1850s-60s. Your variety is number 1220/1220 in the catalog by L. B. Fauver titled American Counters Part 1: Double Eagle and Eagle Gold. He rated it R-7 (10-20 known), but I believe it is slightly more common than that.

The example plated in Fauver's book is not cracked, so your piece must be a later die state.
