1924 Mercury Dime (2 Over 1 Error?)

I just picked this up and I'm not an expert on Mercury Dime varieties/errors. Can anyone tell me if this is correctly attributed and an idea of the value of these? If it is valid, should I send it in? I'm not a Mercury dime enthusiast, but this was interesting and cheap.

No it isn't possible. In order to create a 2/1 overdate in 1924 they would have had to have used two hubs made five years apart and the last of the 191X hubs would have been destroyed in 1920.
