well, you gotta admit - at least the minuteman is a legitimate mint product. Not like that illegitimate 1870-S seated dollar token (did they have subways back then?)

TDN, while the 1867 is a rare coin, I like the 1866 in PF66UCAM they have.

Yowser. I usually don't like any nickels but the 1866 is a dazzler. The minuteman

ain't no slouch either!!!

Yeah, why is there so much hype to the 1870-S dollar? Realistically, it should be worth only a few hundred dollars or so. Ok, maybe one thousand dollars...

Ok I read the facts about this coin, its rare. I can see the flack headed my way now. It still looks fugly to me, no way I would shell out that kind of dough. Just because something is that rare, is that the only reason to pay that kind of $?

I personally like the 1914/3 buffalo nickel Legend has on their web site!

 

By the way, the coin on eBay is up on the Legend site for 87.5K. Still doesn't compare with the REAL big guns!
