They're shrinking lots of coins now. Teslamania. It used to be just the dollar that was shrinking.

The process has been in production since the early 1970's. A company that I worked for as Manager of Engineering tried to form aluminum doorknobs with it in the 70's. I believe that the company's name that had the technology was Magnaform (?).
