Heritage/NGC Registry Points

Anyone notice that Heritage is listing NGC Registry points at the end of their auction descriptions? Only problem is - they're all wrong! What's up with that?

I noticed that Heritage was giving the registry points, but I didn't realize that it was for the NGC system. I guess it makes sense. And, I didn't bother to check for accuracy.

 

Personally, I worry about people who will spend oodles of $$ just for points. Of course, if their coin purchases were insignificant compared to their net worth...

I also noticed this tactic by Heritage. I think it's slimy. And you're right, TDN, they're all wrong!

I was wondering what that was all about. First, I thought it was what the estimated prices were expected to bring at auction, as these values seemed high.

 

Did anyone from NGC notify Heritage of their error ?

We sent Heritage a corrected file of Registry scores. It looks like there was an error in the file originally sent to them so it was our fault.
