Great set!

 

I really enjoy looking at the photos, thanks for posting.

 

That is a good year because there are so many denominations. There are even 2 three cent coins! Man, oh, man would I want the gold or what? I guess I could never afford the gold unless I, like you said, win the lottery.

 

Bill: I had an original 1907 proof set. It was together all those years. I hope the fellow I sold it to will sell it back to me if he ever has the need. It was gem until the highest points of the biggest coins got scraped by the plastic holder.

Museum quality, looks like something you would see at the Smithsonian.

 

Hopefully it's kept in a bank or a big safe and not on your nightstand. Though that would be very cool to wake up to everyday...:smile:
