The 1879 is a bit surprising for someone just starting their set. It's a very nice coin though. How about the die cracks on the reverse of the 1872? I doubt that die was used much longer.

Thanks all. I got the bulk of the coins from Bartlesvillelook. He sent me a group of coins, I reveiwed them and then made an offer. The rest I have picked up from Ebay and other avenues.
