PRE CAC stickers ! anyone have slabs with green yellow red ?

Anyone have stickers like this ? both of these coins came from the same dealer some time ago, but I highly doubt they put the stickers on there. Also one is much more faded. These are OLD SCHOOL stickers. Where did they come from, does anyone know more ?

I have seen a couple of yellow ones, and one red. I don't remember the red coin, but pretty sure I got rid of it fast.

I believe the seller that goes by the name of fairtraderz on ebay actively puts these on their inventory at shows.

These are just commercially available adhesive stickers - some dealers use them for inventory purposes, etc.

These are available at any office supply store. David Lawrence Rare Coins also uses them.

Interesting that I've only seen them on sovs that I bought around 2005-2007 from Northeast Numismatics. Never seen one on another coin personally.

heritage auctions uses these small round different colored stickers all of the time

exact same type color and texture

 

usually most dealers do not/never remove them nor do they care

 

but most likely from heritage auctions

I've gotten slabbed coins from Ebay with different color stickers like those as well. I usually remove them.

You can buy those dots at many stationary stores.

 

I used to use red dots to mark "new purchases" when I was a dealer. A couple of my customers asked that I do that so that they could go though my inventory quickly.
