Wow, both of those are STUNNERS! (and more like what we expect you to post ;) )

 

I would grade the 1858 MS-65*

And I'd call the 1866 MS-65 PL

 

I really, REALLY like the top one because of the beautiful toning, but I can appreciate the PL too!

Well, 1858 is graded MS67. It's also CAC stickered, so there's no room for argument, I take it? :grin:;) It's also approved by Mr Feld to boot :)

 

1866 is graded MS66 with PL disignation. As some members poited out, there are small hits/ lines here and there and I think it's not PQ for the grade. But PL coins tend to bring up minor hits/lines more obvious than non PL coins, you know. Mr.Feld offered me to buy it back in case I don't like it, but I decided to keep it because I like the overall eye appeal of this coin.
