That's NGC's new 'warning ban system'. It only allows you to log in after 6-8 tries. Then, you must say nice things or the system increases to 8-10 tries, then 10-12 tries and so on. The more nice things you say, the less log in tries are needed. One poster had to try 152 times before he could log in. He learned his lesson.

When I opened this thread I needed to log in again. Now it recognizes me.

I blew away the old link in my favorites and this seems to be working. It just doesn't recognize me on the main forum pages.
