I have a roll of these. Common date, but high grade. Worth submitting or not?

I would say only if MS67 or 68, D/S, D/D, D/D/S, or D/D/D/S. nice coin in that roll!

They are all high grade, but are they worthy?

Over 17,000 have been certified MS66 by NGC. It would have to be a MS67 to be worth it really.

It does not seem possible to determine that from the photos.

While it's true that it's not possible to determine the exact grade from the photos, I can see enough to say that this piece is not worth the submission fee.

 

The way coins like this work is that the dealers send in rolls of these coins in "very choice Unc." for the roll for bulk grading. The hope is they get a few MS-67s or hit the real jack pot and get an MS-68. Then they make some real money. Sending in a single coin at the regular rates is not a good gamble.
