1886 Indian Heads type 1 or 2

When I was collecting a set of Indian cents when I was in high school in the 1960s, I found that the 1886 cent was a real sleeper in the series. I could never find a really nice one that was up with the rest of my set, which most graded Fine to Very Fine (the late dates ranged from AU to Unc.). Back then 1885 was thought to be the toughest date in the 1880s.

Later on I've noted that many of the 1886 Type II coins were poorly struck. As a result really nice Mint State examples (and sadly some no so nice examples) are really expensive. If you are forming a Mint State Lincoln set, 1886 is date that you find tougher than you might think.
