1807 half, what overton # is this?

It is a 112 50/inverted 5. Hard to tell the 112 and the 114 apart at a glance, There should be the remnants of an upside down 5 underneath the 5 in 50 though.

It's a 112. By the time the die reached this stage of wear the inverted 5 (not a 2--that is a misnomer) can no longer be seen. It is my personal opinion that once a die variety that depends on a particular die state is no longer in that die state then it should no longer be considered that die variety. Therefore in this case, PCGS was right to call it a "Large Stars". The problem is that ALL of the 1807 CBH's with the exception of the O-113 "small stars" are large star obverses. That's why I don't think that there should be a "Large Stars" Redbook variety.
