1666 Netherlands Gold Ducat - Guess The Grade!

This is a 1666 Netherlands Gold Ducat, the year of the Great Fire of London.

 

I have collected Dutch gold ducats for over ten years and this is the only time I have ever seen this date, so I'm assuming it's pretty rare.

 

The high points on a gold ducat and the first to show wear are the fingers holding the sword and arrows. The knees and armor on the legs is also worthy of close examination.

Looks EF-40 or maybe even 45.

EF-45 it is. Good eyes.

 

A little more detail in the knight's face and this would have hit AU-50.
