Hi all .. we had out yearly sale in Newcastle and it was a strange one with a lot of mid range coins not hitting there reserve but the £1000 - £6000 coins selling well

The USA stuff was going for good money and i only managed to win one lot this year :censored:

also the accumulations were hotly contested and i only managed to win 2 of the lots .. the nice lot had a starting bid of £50 and me and another had a humdinger of a battle and it finally went for £460 !!!! .. there was a nice woods half penny 1723 and a good 1875 IHC in the lot but now some dealer has them

my winnings

The 87 Morgan has tons of different clashes. The most "famous" is VAM 12 -Alligator eye.

You might want to check for more clashes around the outside of Liberty neck and back of the head. Also, on the leaves on the reverse.I can actually see some in your pictures

Clashed die it is. And the 1887 VAM-12 "Gator Eye" variety is the result of a doubled-die obverse, not clashing. It's perhaps the most common of the Top-100 VAMs, but still popular.
