1926 Buffalo 5c-any grade at all?

Looks to be around VF. But if you send it in like that, I guarantee it will bodybag - looks to be possibly environmentally damaged, with all sorts of verdigris/crud stuck to it.

I'm not planning on sending it in, but I was curious to see what a grade would be. I've got a 1916-D and 1930 that are just as dark. I'm going to supermacro them and see if they are pitted as the 1926 on is.

We used to have chemical plants,paper mills, and salt mining plants in the area. Some of the guys must have carried these around in their pockets and got the gunk on the coins. Have to get out some of my ancient chemistry books and see what turns nickel black.
