Spot Removal

3 posts in this topic

I have a 1865 IHC proof graded by PCGS as PF64RB. It has a dark spot on it's cheek. I was inquiring if there was anything NCS could do to improve/eliminate spot?

It is possible that the spot could be removed from the surface of your coin or at the very least reduced. We would have to see your coin in person to determine for certain how successful we may be in removing the spot.

Chris........ I inquired about my 1865 & 1872 IHC proofs and customer service informed me that NCS would not try to conserve the 1865. Did you personally look at it. Just wanted to find out why NCS did not think they could eliminate or reduce the spot on the cheek.

Dean
