That's a nice freakin' coin! Is the singed violet on the edge as pronounced in-hand as it is in the image? Also, the blush of violet on the face is quite nice in that it doesn't appear to have been caused by an errant fingerprint, as so many have been treated to. What does the reverse look like?

i would say superb gem proof with a strong stellar cameo

 

and based on how this date comes

 

this is a red coin in my minds eye

 

a special coin

 

and one with great eye appeal

I agree! If not for the carbon spots then I bet that it would easily make 67. Very, very nice!
