Looks like a split up on some of the Multi Holders Proof Sets

Now who would you use to Sell them as inviduals coins.

 

Teletrade - They have been consistant in their prices and activity

 

Heritage - Probably not as they take too long to pay you

 

DLRC - I have heard they have become more in line with market values.

Plus they may want to reholder the HIGH graded stuff in their OWN holders

 

Ebay - Probably not as I have cut down a lot of sales on them for fee reasons.

( Avarage lasy year $400-500 Avarage this year $24 )

 

Primary considerations for the spilt up are the

 

1950

1951

1957

1967

Are you saying someone is cracking out proof coins from multi-holders and selling them raw or are they being individually re-graded and then sold?

 

No...

 

Mike is looking to sell the proof sets that he has in multiholders, but he wants to break up the multiholders first, and he's asking where the best place to sell the individual coins is.

Do they necessarily have to be split?

 

They'd probably sell better if they were

 

If someone is building a set of their own, they may need 1 or 2 coins out of the whole set, but not need the other 3 coins. They may bid lower, or not bid at all because of the extra coins.

Woody where have you been man :)

No one has any input as to what venue to use - what they have used recently with good results etc
