Will NGC put problem coins directly in NCS holders?

2 posts in this topic

I have always used NGC, but I love how PCGS will at least slab a coin genuine if there is a problem with it. Will NGC offer something like this? The way it is now, I believe I would have to pay two submissions fees if I want NCS AND NGC to look at the coin.

Any time you have a coin you have a doubt if it will grade with NGC or if it is damaged and would be a "no grade," I would recommend submitting it to NCS Details Grading. If your coin will grade with NGC, you will receive it back in an NGC holder. If it is damaged, you will have it authenticated and receive it back in an NCS Details Grade holder. You will be charged the fees only once according to the company that actually put your coin in a holder.
