Another strange looking penny

Well I can't be sure but I know it looks to be an off-center strike. But it also looks to have alot of post-mint damage. I don't think that the off-centers carry as much premium over others.

I wouldn’t be to sure about that one either Pat…what is written on the 2X2 holder?

 

Looks like some post mint damage, that type of elongation is not a characteristic of a mint struck coin.

I do know what a mule is. It's a coin struck from two dies that aren't intended to be used together such as the famous mule that had Sac dollar reverse paired with the Washington head from a state quarter. Well on the subject coin here I see and the obvers of a Lincoln cent that is supposed to be paired with a Lincoln Memorial reverse and that is what it has. This is no mule.
