2009 Lincoln five coin set - NGC special label?

2 posts in this topic

Hi - will NGC offer a special label and mailing procedures similar to the 20th Annv. SAE black label? This set looks to be special per the US Mint site:

The US Mint has announced a 2009 Lincoln Five Coin Set, which will included the four 2009 Proof Lincoln Cents and the 2009 Proof Lincoln Commemorative Silver Dollar. These sets will be limited to 50,000.

If the set is mailed in unopened like similar rules in the past and under the Modern Special tier?

Thanks!

Thanks for contacting us. There is no special designation for this set. Other than the 10th and 20th Anniversary Eagles in original sealed boxes, no Mint packaging needs to be sent to NGC for designations of any kind. (Reverse proofs from these sets sent singly also don’t require any special packaging to receive their designations.)
