****Featured Coins****

1793 ½ Cent, PCGS VF-25 – ON HOLD -- A warm milk-chocolate brown color is further accentuated by a smooth, virtually porosity-free planchet and a look that a copper collector would die for. It’s hard to imagine a better VF.!

1806/5 Draped Bust Quarter, PCGS VF-20 – $2,095 -- The coin was just a textbook example of was an honestly circulated early Type coin should look like. Evenly and well struck, this example has smooth surfaces, strong central details, and medium grey color.

1854-O "HUGE O" Quarter PCGS VF-25: $4,250 - PCGS has only graded a total of 34 examples in all grades! Only 3 pieces have been graded VF-25, and only 18 coin have graded higher. To date, PCGS has not graded a single uncirculated example of a "Huge O" quarter

1904-S Morgan Dollar, PCGS MS-63 - $3,750 -- This example is really flashy and lustrous, a departure from the norm for this usually drab date. Just a touch of toning adorns the obverse periphery, limited mostly to the denticles. Overall, the coin is 95% white. This is a RARE date Morgan, and the best part is that it’s really a high-end example for the assigned grade.

1859 $2.5 LIBERTY GOLD NGC MS-67: POR- This coin is a pop 1 finest known at either service. There are only 4 coins listed in the populations of both NGC/PCGS at MS-65 or higher, and it is our understanding that resubmissions have inflated this number by 1-2 coins. The 1859 is a scarce date in all grades and really tough in Mint State. Only 60 total examples show up in the population for all Mint State grades at both services. This specific coin is mentioned in the Garrett/Guth Encyclopedia as "virtually perfect and certainly the finest known." New to the market, this piece has been in a private collection for 10 years. This is the perfect piece for the collector of Pop 1 coins, or the Registry Set collector of Liberty Quarter Eagles. Please contact us for further information.
