1971 No-S Nickel

Hi,

 

I contacted NGC customer service regarding the designation of "No-S" on a 1971 proof Jefferson nickel and was told that NGC no longer recognizes this variety. Why is that, especially since NGC still recognizes the 1970 "No-S" Roosevelt proof dime? I would like the "No-S" listed on the label. Is there any way this can be done?
