****Feature Coins****

 

1859 $2.5 LIBERTY GOLD NGC MS-67: $52,500 - This coin is a pop 1 finest known at either service. There are only 4 coins listed in the populations of both NGC/PCGS at MS-65 or higher, and it is our understanding that resubmissions have inflated this number by 1-2 coins. The 1859 is a scarce date in all grades and really tough in Mint State. Only 60 total examples show up in the population for all Mint State grades at both services. This specific coin is mentioned in the Garrett/Guth Encyclopedia as "virtually perfect and certainly the finest known." New to the market, this piece has been in a private collection for 10 years. This is the perfect piece for the collector of Pop 1 coins, or the Registry Set collector of Liberty Quarter Eagles. Please contact us for further information.

 

1854-O "HUGE O" Quarter PCGS VF-25: $4,500 - PCGS has only graded a total of 34 examples in all grades! Only 3 pieces have been graded VF-25, and only 18 coin have graded higher. To date, PCGS has not graded a single uncirculated example of a "Huge O" quarter.

 

1879-CC Morgan GSA W/ Box & Card: $6,750 - A tough coin and a rare and highly desirable GSA issue. Only about 1% of GSA Carson City Morgans were 1879-CCs. The coin itself is white and flashy and we call it an MS-62+.

 

1903-S Morgan Dollar PCGS MS-64: $7,950 - The coin is white, with cartwheel luster and a super clean cheek. This coin is really nice and is everything you would want in a PCGS MS-64 holder and more!
