Goetz definitely has a recognizable style. Very nice medal! What's the story it's depicting? Do you know?

I believe the medal highlights the "atrocities" propogated by the African colonial subjects of the French on the Rhineland Pfalz area of western Germany after the 1st World War. I think Goetz portrays the German people as both saddned and sickened as the blacks were allowed to run rampant in the area while the authorities turned a blind eye.
