Cherrypicking problem coins !!!

1 post in this topic

Here is the latest problem coin that I cherrypicked. It`s a 1918/7 -D buffalo nickel. The coin was acid dated and had some environmental damage. The diagnostic die crack at the hair braid is present as well as the top right serif of the seven and the flat sides of the inner loops. Ebay has a similiar specimen currently for auction. Bids have already surpassed the $500.00 mark.

Purchase price I paid for this little problem gem was $1.00 plus $2.00 S/H/I.

I would like to here from anyone else who has had a similiar experience at cherrypicking problem coins.
