Why does the NGC POP LOOK up NOt Agree Withe Population Graph

3 posts in this topic

ie:

1967 SMS Quarter 2528289-016 - You do a serial number search and and do a NGC POP look up it shows NONE better 68cam

You look up the Date and Grade in the POPULATION Graph from the drop down menu and it shows one finer 69cam

How off are ALL these figures ???

I didn't find any MS69CAM....you might want to double check that again.

I just did the Cert Look up and got

MS-64=1 MS65=12 MS66=64 MS67=129 MS68=59 MS69=0

I went into the population report and got

MS-64=1 MS65=12 MS66=65 MS67=143 MS68=66 MS69=0

The reason the scores are different is because with the Cert Look up it shows the star

coins in a different column.

The population report adds the stars with the non-stars.

So lets take the MS67=129 MS67(*)=14 Total=143
