I'll bet that specimen set goes for a bit of cash.

 

I have yet to see another perfect set all together in one place :)

 

I have no clue what its worth its been a while since I evaluated the collection. It will be soon though as I added the 50 and 51 set to the proof collection.

 

Plus I unloaded a load of stuff too so its time ...

Mike, please excuse my stupidity, but what is the significance of the Specimen Set? I know the Kennedy has a matte finish, but how is it related, other than grade, to the nickels?

All Three came from Commemorative Special Mint Sets -

 

1994 Jefferson Set

1997 Botanic Gardens

1998 Kennedy Set

 

All Three are Matte Finished

With a quick Look it valuation looks to be around 1800 which isa not too shabby considering I paid 600 for them separately 3 years ago ..
