Ebay's record lately on these enforcement matters is spotty to say the least, I hope that you get some satisfaction in this matter.

would have been removed from my site in the matter of seconds. as a "venue" i dont need these things and they shouldnt either. but to them the money is more important.its just to bad that they are recieving money prety much from a stollen item if you will.which in most places is illegal.

i am just glad we know and that it was brought into the light. i will also be working with ana very close and law enforcemnt everywhere to help deture the illegal acts like this.

I cant believe the innocent comments Im hearing about "why doesnt ebay do this or that?"

The practical matter is, their fraud department is overwhelmed a 1000-1, not to mention ebay doesnt really give a flying @#$% as long as they get their fees. Seen any of their recent press releases? The plan is to abandon the auction concept and move to all buy it now pricing in ebay stores. No individual listings soon. Thats where the money is and thats where they are going. Perhaps thats why they instituted the 30 day wait to be paid on paypal giving buyers time for "buyers remorse"?

Just remember if you keep "interfering" in the auctions and deciding what can and can't be sold, what is and is not real, what is a rip off etc and deleting them you can't hide behind the "We are a venue" excuse and you open yourself up to liability. If someone does get ripped off on an auction on your site, the buyer can point out that you do take an active role in the policing of your auction site and that you didn't stop the auction that hurt him thereby making you negligent and liable.

if i know someone is breaking a law i dont want them doing it on my site. so yes i would pull. it states on site you can sell everything you want but guns and child porn. im not going to be an ebay im going to run it better than ebay. it is part of the agreement. if you dont agree you dont join.

if this wasnt prooved buy the links and the photos then it wouldnt have been pulled if on my site. but if it can be seen that there is an illegal act going down yes i will stop it from happening.

if it takes being sued for stepping in so be it. they still wouldnt be selling to unsuspecting people, and to me that is the key.

and you say "keep" interfearing. i havnt interfiered on site. and hope i never have to.

also if they sue me for stopping there illegal act so be it.

if ebay would just step up and take the real bad things off instead of taking the small guys out for stupid reasons then it would run better. i will work with ana, fbi, local law enforcement..... i would think that i would be in more trouble for allowing illegal acts on my site than getting rid of the problems :)
