YET ANOTHER PROOF DIE CRACK FOR NICKEL LOVERS THIS TIME

Pat - While I realize that "QC" is supposed to keep this kind of thing from happening in today's *perfect world*, I'm glad it doesn't! laugh.gif

 

Die cracks in the Jefferson series at large are amazingly common, of course much more so for MS vs. PF coins. I even have a couple of coins with the same die cracks that represent differing states of die wear. One pair of these (1944-D FS nickels) I collected widely separated in time and space. (Sounds like Star Trek). Fun, interesting, but not worth a plug nickel. 27_laughing.gif
