Auction coins recived today..

Hi all hear are my latest purchase from a auction house in Ipswich .. the first picture is there's and the second are my scans .. how a picture can change eh!

 

i am now not sure if the 1/4 1901 will grade now i have it in the hand

but i am hopeful with the IHC

 

guess we will see when my next batch go's the NGC

It is amazing how pictures and scans can change the look of a coin. I would venture to say that most folks buy coins based solely on the pics. If it looks good in the picture, then it probably will sell.

 

Very nice looking coins, hopefully NGC will agree with you.

Both coins look better in your photos, I think. If the coins were mine I would give them an acetone bath.
