Spots On PL Dollars

Has NCS experienced any success removing those milky white areas or spots in the fields on PL and DMPL dollars without affecting the mirrors and are these types of problems a good candidate for your services?

In cases like this, we would have to see the coin to determine what type of spot is visible.

 

Residue spots, which can be any number of different colors including white, can usually be removed.

 

Water spots are usually not removable through conservation because they are in the planchet.
