CONECA 25th Anniversary Medals

I received them today after ordering them about 4 weeks ago. The 5-piece set includes the .999 silver, clad, golden bronze and two neat, but intentional, errors. I also had the option of ordering a cherry wood or velvet presentation case. I opted for the velvet.

 

Also, they still had the 20th Anniversary copper medal available, so I ordered that as well. I'm sure glad that I did!

 

Apparently, with our new forums, I can only add 5 attachments at one time. So, the rest will follow.

I started to do an order for the error versions--but a personal situation got in the way. I just found it neat that they purposely made off center errors of their medal! Now, you've given me an incentive to place that order. I wonder if they will be in Baltimore at the World's Fair of Money? If so, I can buy there!

Later in the year I was surprised to receive one struck by the cancelled die.

A couple of years ago, I decided to sell one of my two 25th anniversary sets. It was listed with no reserve - BIG MISTAKE! - It sold for $10!
