The 1914-P is really the scarcer coin. That one is #2 in the Indian quarter eagle set, well behind the 1911-D.

 

I had these coins (1914-P and 1914-D) on a customer's want list, and I found that the grading on them was fairly conservative. I found a 1914-P in an NGC MS-62 holder that was better than the vast majority of common date pieces you see in MS-63 and quite a number of MS-64 holders. The reason for this is that there are huge jumps in prices as you go up the MS scale and the TPGs tend to get conservative when they see that.
