post one of your favorite pre-1915 classic coin's in your collection

Holy cow! I just realized I collect mostly, gulp... modern crud. :blush: Most of my coins are pre-1936, but my higher grade coins are post-1915.

 

Here's one of my favorites because it was so hard to find in EF+ condition:

I'm pretty sure this isn't what Michael refers to a "classic" but it is pre-1915

This is now my rarest type coin.

The estimated total surviving population is 125 to 150 pieces. The original mintage was 2,710. The 1808 quarter eagle is a one year type coin.
