Nice coin, MM. It's a fooler. The longer I look at it, the nicer it looks. When I first saw it I immediately thought VF but I believe that is because it is so "soft" looking rather than crisply struck, I believe it would grade EF45. Love the die crack and original color.

Gee, what happened to the denticles on the obverse?

 

Nice even wear, nice clasp and hair on Miss Liberty, the reverse eagle still shows

Some characteristics on the talons, good color…but the rims knock it down to VF-30

for me.

 

I still like it how ever, I just hope the dig in the reverse field and the slight scratch on Miss Liberty's cheek are subtle when viewed in hand.
