Has anyone noticed or having any problems with the PCGS price guide site? Looks to be not working very well. Just black boxes.

What web browser are you using? I know that versions of Internet Explorer before 5.5 don't handle frames correctly. You might want to try either going to the windows update web page or googling the following:

download internet explorer x site:microsoft.com

where x is the most recent version of Internet Explorer applicable to your operating system. If you're not using internet explorer you may want to update your browser. Alternatively you can try Mozilla Firefox, a freeware browser that is the most popular alternative to Internet Explorer. Also make sure that you are using the most recent version of adobe's flash player and Sun Microsystem's java in case the PCGS website uses this technology on their site. Try updating your flash player and java first.

Java Runtime Download Page: http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp

Adobe Flash Update: http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/

Mozilla Firefox: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ (Mac, Windows, Linux)

Internet Explorer 7 (if applicable): http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx

I hope this helps.

It has nothing to do with Flash, Java, or any of those other add on technologies--none of them are used in these pages. It seems that PCGS has a problem with their back-end server that is supplying the prices for the pages. It is an intermittent problem. The system probably need a good swift kick in the side (or a reboot!).
