Wow, this is a tough one. I am going to go with FA2 as well. I think there is too much wording still readable for PO1. I could be mistaken as I don't know the series, so this is just a guess.

I'd put odds on it. Wouldn't it be a shame if it were really a 1796 or 1797 but the last digit is absolutely undiscernable and no diagnostics?

Nahh. I can barely make out a 5 in there. And there are only two years with this design, 94 and 95.. I give it a PO2 myself.

I purchased this one from a board member here (and, across the street) and am happy to report it is a FA02 (1795) with ANACS (older, white small holder).

It's definitely a 1795, I would have guessed f02. but it looks like braddick spoiled my guesses!
