Let's post some Classic Commemoratives this weekend.

Classic commemoratives...I only own 2. The Cincinnati commemorative deals with the topic of music (I collect music coins) and the RI commemorative is because this is RI AL.

Hope everyone is well. Ya know, I have seen some beautifully toned coins here and on other topics and I think I am becoming a convert.

Hi, SkyMan :hi:

Well the weekend is over... but here is my recent purchase for my DANSCO 7070. The colors on this coin inhand is just fantastic! :)

I received 3 more BTW's today! Two more and that set is done! It feels good coming close to completing this goal. It's one of many when it comes to collecting early commemoratives. Here are the new arrivals: 1946D MS65, 1950 MS66, 1950D MS65 and 1950S MS66. Since I'm having a hard time locating the last two that I need you may not see another BTW from me in a while. :applause:

Wow, love the Hawaii's and the toned Norfolk is quite stunning. The Carver is very nice and clean looking too. Great coins all.

Lovely coins, all! :golfclap:

Well, we're past the weekend, but what the hey, it seems that the thread will go on. So, here's another one. I'm not a big fan of the obverse of the design, but I really like the Mountain Lion reverse...

Sy,

I love that coin. I used to own a Vermont Commemorative that was 50/50 toned with bright lavender and lemon yellow. I don't know why I sold the coin, I have regretted it ever since. Yours is absolutely fantastic. Great reverse toning. I however like the obverse design, Ira Allen is the spitting image of my dear departed father. If I ever come across one like yours, you can bet I will buy it.

Good news as I got number 17 of 18 in the BTW's last night. I can't post it as of yet since it hasn't arrived yet. In the mean time here's a 1905 Lewis and Clark Exposition Gold dollar. Picture sucks as I couldn't get my macro where I wanted it as the coin is really small.

I picked this one up recently, my first Washington Carver, 1952 PCGS MS 65. Obtained at a very reasonable cost.
