Opinions? 1922 Dollar and 1941 Half

A couple more from my dad's collection. I'm starting to sense that the condition on these coins is less than stellar. I won't go crazy posting pics of many more unless you would like to see them. I just want to get an idea of grading. Thanks again for your help.

Thanks for the opinions. To be clear, I have no plans of selling these coins regardless of "value" I just thought it would be a good idea to learn a little about what I have. I really don't have the first clue how to grade, etc. and thought it would be interesting to learn and these boards seem quite knowledgeable.

The 1922 dollar is a 1922-D struck at the Denver mint and the 1941 half is a 1941-S struck at the San Francisco mint.
