1810 CBH Guess the grade.....Grade posted

the strike is exceptional for an 1810 bust half. the hair curls show little wear so I'd call it 50-55. Not seeing it in hand though, I cannot comment on the fields.

Depending on luster I could see it going anywhere from 45-53. It does not look like it has the luster for a 55, but your pics are really amplifying marks on that coin so its hard to tell.

Thanks so far, luster is definatly there but this new lighting shows every detail except the luster. (shrug)

 

I'm using three lights, 4,8 and 12 o'clock.

I will post the grade later in the day.

Thanks for playing "guess the grade" again, i'll get this imaging thing down pat one of these days. :hi:

Althought there were a few good ballpark guesses 123cents and rrantique nailed the "grade" on the nose.
