1838 No Drapery Quarter

I'm not affiliated with this coin in anyway but I think it is a great type coin for $350. Just heads ups if anyone is interested.

PCGS VF35

Remember that I just bought this beaut from Hoot, o/w I'd be on this in a second! I know that it would get my adrenaline a-going.

The price seems rather high to me. Given the look and the scratch across Ms. Liberty bust line I would only grade the first coin VF-30. You can drive a truck between the prices for the No Drapery quarter in VF and EF, and I think this coin falls short of EF.

This one is in an NGC AU-58 holder. I paid $550 for years ago. Despite the fact that Gray Sheet bid is only $420, I could probably get my money back on it because it is so close to Mint State.

Of course the no drapery quarter is no where near as scarce as its half dollar counterpart but just how scarce is this sub-type? Is it like the half where lower circulated grades are available but get very difficult AU and above?

thx.
