Scotch tape residue

3 posts in this topic

What would be the safest, easiest way to remove what appears to be scotch tape residue from silver? The coin in question is a Norse medal.

Thanks

I would not be able to give any advice on any home conservation techniques. I can say that we have had success in removing glue and tape residues from the surfaces of coins. The fees for removal of glue and tape residues is the same as for any other professional conservation service at 5% of the insured declared value with a minimum charge of $20.
